Three olive branches, each painted leaf by leaf, laid over a background built from rectangles of charcoal, mid grey, pale stone and gold. The gold blocks are put down like metal leaf so they catch the light while the grey stays flat, and a run of leaves on every branch is picked out in the same gold. The three branches lean differently — right, upright, left — so each panel stands on its own. Charcoal with gold is the most formal pairing we carry, and it needs light on it: in a dim corner the gold goes dull. Sold as a set of three, from 3 frames 40×60 cm up to 3 frames 70×100 cm.

With a frame — Solid wood with a wooden backing, in gold, brown, wooden, black or champagne.
