What each size suits

50 × 70Desk · reading corner · hallway
60 × 90Console · single bed
70 × 100Three-seat sofa · small dining table
80 × 120Large sofa · double bed
100 × 150A reception wall
120 × 180A large empty wall

How to place it

  • Make the piece about two thirds the width of the furniture under it.
  • Hang it so the centre sits 145 – 150 cm off the floor.
  • Leave 20 – 25 cm between the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
  • In a set, the gap between frames is 8 cm.

A three-piece set: each panel runs from 40×60 to 70×100. So three 60×90 panels take 196 cm of wall — 180 for the panels and 16 for the two gaps.

Frame and glass

  • Unframed canvas: stretched on a wooden bar, ready to hang, the lightest option.
  • Framed: solid wood in five colours.
  • Glass: optional — it protects the surface and adds depth, and adds weight.

Soft abstract floral canvas in a pale frame above a grey sofa

The Abstract Bloom - Vertical Floral Painting | Shadow Gallery

Flat cut-paper shapes overlap up a tall panel — three large white blooms with grey shading, one spiked ochre flower with a rust centre near the top, a column of small white beads down the left, and rust, ochre and blush circles scattered through the middle, with sage-green leaf shapes cutting between them. The ground is blush pink and peach in soft blocks, and a rust patch dotted all over in white sits at the bottom. Nothing is outlined; every shape is made only by where one colour stops and the next begins, which is what keeps it soft even with this much in it. Sizes from 50×70 cm up to 120×180 cm.

Canvas — Printed in high resolution on durable canvas, stretched over a 3 cm hidden wooden frame. Ready to hang.

With a frame — Solid wood with a wooden backing, in gold, brown, wooden, black or champagne.

Glass — optional — On the sizes that take it: extra protection from dust and touch, with no change to the colours.

Made to order — Printed and framed after you order, in the size and frame you pick. A 30% deposit confirms it, or pay in full online. Custom sizes on request.
