What each size suits

50 × 70Desk · reading corner · hallway
60 × 90Console · single bed
70 × 100Three-seat sofa · small dining table
80 × 120Large sofa · double bed
100 × 150A reception wall
120 × 180A large empty wall

How to place it

  • Make the piece about two thirds the width of the furniture under it.
  • Hang it so the centre sits 145 – 150 cm off the floor.
  • Leave 20 – 25 cm between the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
  • In a set, the gap between frames is 8 cm.

A three-piece set: each panel runs from 40×60 to 70×100. So three 60×90 panels take 196 cm of wall — 180 for the panels and 16 for the two gaps.

Frame and glass

  • Unframed canvas: stretched on a wooden bar, ready to hang, the lightest option.
  • Framed: solid wood in five colours.
  • Glass: optional — it protects the surface and adds depth, and adds weight.

Positano watercolour in a black frame on a textured pale wall

Positano Amalfi Coast Watercolor Canvas Art | Shadow Gallery

A watercolour of Positano seen from above: ochre, cream and terracotta houses stacked up the cliff, magenta bougainvillea spilling across the foreground, and the beach below lined with blue loungers and small boats on turquoise water. The wash is loose and the white of the paper shows through, which keeps the colour light rather than heavy. Sizes from 50×70 cm up to 120×180 cm.

Canvas — Printed in high resolution on durable canvas, stretched over a 3 cm hidden wooden frame. Ready to hang.

With a frame — Solid wood with a wooden backing, in gold, brown, wooden, black or champagne.

Glass — optional — On the sizes that take it: extra protection from dust and touch, with no change to the colours.

Made to order — Printed and framed after you order, in the size and frame you pick. A 30% deposit confirms it, or pay in full online. Custom sizes on request.
