Modern Abstract Terracotta Floral Canvas Wall Art | Shadow Gallery

Four simplified tulips are laid over one another in flat translucent washes — a deep brick-red bloom cropped at the top left, a cream one on an olive stem, a large rust-orange one at the centre on a coral stem, and a second cream bloom low on the left. Where the petals cross you see straight through them. The upper ground is sand and cream, and the whole bottom third is a single dark olive block cut on a diagonal, with the three stems running down into it. Rust over olive is a harder palette than plain beige and it pays off in a room that already has green or wood in it; the flat shapes hold at large sizes, so take this one big rather than small. Sizes from 50×70 cm up to 120×180 cm.
