What each size suits

50 × 70Desk · reading corner · hallway
60 × 90Console · single bed
70 × 100Three-seat sofa · small dining table
80 × 120Large sofa · double bed
100 × 150A reception wall
120 × 180A large empty wall

How to place it

  • Make the piece about two thirds the width of the furniture under it.
  • Hang it so the centre sits 145 – 150 cm off the floor.
  • Leave 20 – 25 cm between the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
  • In a set, the gap between frames is 8 cm.

A three-piece set: each panel runs from 40×60 to 70×100. So three 60×90 panels take 196 cm of wall — 180 for the panels and 16 for the two gaps.

Frame and glass

  • Unframed canvas: stretched on a wooden bar, ready to hang, the lightest option.
  • Framed: solid wood in five colours.
  • Glass: optional — it protects the surface and adds depth, and adds weight.

Home Sweet Home set of two in wooden frames on a bright wall

Home Sweet Home | Typographic Modern Abstract Wave Art | Shadow Gallery

A pair. One panel is thick wavy bands — amber orange, cream, sage, deep forest green and near black — each band brushed so that fine parallel lines run the length of it. The other is a plain forest-green poster with HOME SWEET HOME set large in cream capitals and a two-line italic note under it reading “Find comfort and happiness in the place where you belong”. The green of the text panel is pulled straight out of the darkest band of the wave panel, so the two lock together as a pair rather than simply hanging side by side. Sold as a set of two, from 2 frames 40×60 cm up to 2 frames 70×100 cm.

Canvas — Printed in high resolution on durable canvas, stretched over a 3 cm hidden wooden frame. Ready to hang.

With a frame — Solid wood with a wooden backing, in gold, brown, wooden, black or champagne.

Glass — optional — On the sizes that take it: extra protection from dust and touch, with no change to the colours.

Made to order — Printed and framed after you order, in the size and frame you pick. A 30% deposit confirms it, or pay in full online. Custom sizes on request.
