Brown White, Large Portrait Artwork

A chestnut horse fills the frame, its head turned three-quarters towards you, a broad white blaze running from forehead to muzzle and a thick wavy cream mane falling loose on both sides. The background is a warm blur of beige and caramel with no detail in it at all, and every strand of the mane is painted separately. Chestnut and cream on beige — one of the few animal pieces we carry that is genuinely light, so it works over a pale sofa or in a bright room where a black-and-gold horse would be too heavy. Sizes run from 50×70 cm up to 120×180 cm.
