Brown Horse Canvas Print

A dark bay horse turns out of a bronze haze, a white blaze running down its face and a pale blonde mane blown right across the frame and lit from behind. Amber flecks scatter through the lower half like sparks with thin white drips running down beside them, and the background dissolves into smoke with no horizon anywhere. Brown on brown with the mane as the only light — warm and dark rather than dramatic, so it sits comfortably in a room that already has wood, leather or taupe in it, where a black-and-gold piece would be too sharp. Sizes run from 50×70 cm up to 120×180 cm.
