Abstract Purple Flower and Gold

One large lilac bloom opens across the canvas, every petal ribbed with fine drawn lines and edged in gold leaf, around a dark centre crowded with gold stamens. Gold dust runs down the join behind it and scatters into a white marble ground veined in grey on the left, while the right half stays deep mauve under broad strokes of paint and thin gold drips. Lilac with gold is a pairing we carry in very few pieces — it belongs in a bedroom with mauve, plum or grey in it, where a rust or terracotta floral would clash. Sizes run from 50×70 cm up to 120×180 cm.
